Romantic introvert with a mind full of simplistic complexities still unexpressed is just a sketch of an individualistic explosion, called me. The excited world within me, constantly strives to harmonize with the dynamics of the outside expanse to achieve the beauty of universal aesthetics, which connects all of us.

Themes have never been a conscious choice or decision. My past is a nostalgic bouquet of naïve innocence deriving happiness from elemental nature. My present is a juxtaposition of burgeoning urban metaphor. Recreating my fantasies of past, in the moments of present, for a created expanse in front of me has been a true reflection of what emanates from my canvas. The inner world of existential memories and exciting contradictions of today are portrayed in a seemingly surrealistic format to overwhelm my own perceptions, is the crux of my objective.

The momentary excitement generated, when faded fantasies of innocent past intermingle with thrilling contradictions of exciting today, the unknown journey of each painting ignites which often culminates in a visual enchantment, and an endeared part of me.

Naive laughter of childhood, flutter of dragonflies, pastels of lotus petals, blazing blues of reflecting ponds, a cracked network of autumn trees, golden rays of the sun and so on influencing my organic senses. The sheen of everyday utensils and their ever-changing forms, the iconic bicycle and its simple mechanisms intricately woven into complexities of everyday normal life, the evolving charms of traditional elements (both tangible and intangible) in a blatantly growing urban-scape and many much more civilizational elements and iconography continue to amuse me and I recreate their essence into my own stories and fantasies. They blend within my own dynamic imagination to eventually re-emerge as compositions with vivid interpretations for a future so excitingly dreamlike yet so connected. My compositions are invoked from within and venture out to seek the curiosity of the onlooker sparking the same in a similar universe within them.

Oils on canvas provide the rich tones to my paintings on which life-like images are rendered to manipulate the scale of surrealistic essence and cubic proportions using spatula for textures and brushes for strokes. Acrylics provide the apt base for all kinds of multiple artistic- experiments I treat my subjects to. Poster paints and charcoals also are brought in to collaborate with the Oils at times to achieve the desired effect as per the needs of my creations.
